5-Year Replacement Guarantee

That is why eligible products purchased directly through blanketdream.com are backed by our 5-Year Replacement Guarantee.
1. What the Guarantee Covers
For five years from the original delivery date, we will cover eligible failures caused by a defect in materials or workmanship during normal intended use.
Depending on the issue, BlanketDream may provide:
- A replacement component;
- Replacement hardware;
- A replacement cover;
- A comparable replacement product; or
- Another reasonable remedy.
The appropriate remedy will depend on the nature of the claim and product availability.
2. What the Guarantee Does Not Cover
The guarantee does not cover damage primarily caused by:
- Ordinary cosmetic wear;
- Normal fading, staining, or discoloration;
- Dog chewing, biting, clawing, or scratching;
- Cuts, punctures, burns, or chemical damage;
- Vehicle accidents or collisions;
- Improper installation;
- Misuse or use outside the product’s intended purpose;
- Excessive loading beyond published product limits;
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs;
- Washing, drying, or cleaning contrary to our care instructions;
- Loss or theft;
- Damage caused by another person, animal, product, or external event; or
- Failure to follow reasonable product instructions.
The guarantee covers product defects, not every form of accidental damage or normal aging.
3. Backseat Deck Coverage
For the BlanketDream Backseat Deck, eligible defects may include manufacturing failures affecting components such as the support structure, stitching, fastening system, or other structural parts during normal intended use.
Whether a particular issue qualifies will depend on the cause and condition of the product.
4. How Long Coverage Lasts
Coverage begins on the original delivery date and continues for five years.
The guarantee does not restart when replacement parts or replacement products are provided.
5. How to Make a Claim

Please include:
- Your original order number;
- Your full name;
- The email address used for the purchase;
- A description of the issue; and
- Clear photographs or video showing the problem.
We may request additional information reasonably necessary to determine the cause of the failure.
6. Proof of Purchase
The guarantee applies to products purchased directly through blanketdream.com.
Proof of purchase may be required.
Coverage is intended for the original purchaser and is not transferable unless required by applicable law.
7. Replacement Products
If the original product or exact version is no longer available, we may provide a replacement that is reasonably comparable in function and value.
Minor differences in color, materials, design, or specifications may occur as products evolve.
8. Shipping for Approved Claims
For approved guarantee claims within our supported U.S. delivery areas, BlanketDream will cover standard shipping for the replacement part or replacement product.
We may require the defective component or product to be returned before or after replacement.
If a return is required because of an approved warranty claim, we will provide instructions.
9. Relationship to the 90-Day Guarantee
The 90-Day Money-Back Guarantee and the 5-Year Replacement Guarantee are separate.
During the first 90 days after delivery, an eligible customer may request a return under our Refund Policy.
After the 90-day refund period expires, the 5-Year Replacement Guarantee provides eligible replacement coverage but does not create an ongoing right to a cash refund.
10. Limitations
This guarantee applies only to the product itself.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, it does not cover indirect or consequential losses arising from circumstances outside the product defect itself.
Nothing in this guarantee excludes or restricts any legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
